Properties in Edinburgh close to the £5m point.

It doesn't seem like that long ago when properties in places like Glasgow or Edinburgh were passing the £1m mark, now some are nearing the £5m point like this one.

Even in the most expensive areas of Scotland £5m seems a lot of property. But that is exactly where the market is heading. This townhouse in India Street is on the market for offers over £4.75m. Whilst it's a substantial townhouse there is no denying the asking price is one that few in Scotland will be able to cover.

Currently being marketed by Rettie in Edinburgh you can see the property listing here whilst it's available. Some images from the property below in the event the listing is removed by the time you view this.

Noted as a fully restored and refurbished 4-storey townhouse, finished to a very high standard. As you would expect at that price :)

Although it's an A-listed property which indicates it has some national or international significance. Likely a UNESCO World Heritage building or site.

It comes with everything including a cinema room, self-contained flat, under-pavement cellars, state-of-the-art security and technology throughout. Lacks a swimming pool and fitness room. So despite the price you can't have everything :)

It's certainly not in the most expensive bracket for Scotland but in Edinburgh city centre it certainly is.
